Colour Pencil Fledgling Sparrow Print

This print is taken from an original piece of artwork drawn with high quality colour pencils on drafting film.  The inspiration for this drawing was taken from a photograph that I took of a male sparrow feeding his fledgling while balancing on a string of outdoor lighting. I used a bit of artistic licence to swap out the black wire they were sitting on, to a more decorative lichen covered twig.

Artist Bio:

I’m a colour pencil artist from Newquay, Cornwall, working with artist grade colour pencils on various surfaces from pastelmat to drafting film.
I’m take inspiration from photographs that I take of the beautiful wildlife around me. I’m also a pet portrait artist who is happy to take commissions for any much loved pets from horses and dogs to reptiles. My pet friends are a chocolate lab, bearded dragon, crested gecko, leopard gecko and two green anoles.
