Title: Foxglove and Bee

This delicate watercolour painting was inspired by the foxgloves in my garden that I carefully grow myself from seed every year! I love to attract wildlife to my garden, especially bees. In the painting, you can see the bumblebee hovering by the delicate pink spotted flowers ready to enjoy the nectar! I use the smallest of brushes to get the very fine detail and all of my paintings are built up of many layers of watercolour paint which gives them a beautiful depth while still looking partly translucent at the same time. They look beautiful hung on the wall in a group or just on their own.

Artist Bio:

I am a watercolour and ceramic artist based in the West Midlands. I have painted professionally for over 25 years and my biggest inspiration is nature itself. Although I also like to let my imagination run free and paint fantasy and fairytales! Whether it be birds or flowers, unicorns or waterfalls, I am sure will find something that you will fall in love with!
