Title: Allium in a garden

Allium in a garden

I like Alliums’ round and structural flowers bravely placed on a top of long stems in a spring garden. I painted the flowers in mixed media on aquarelle cotton in 2023 and I decided to add a background to my painting after a spectacular Aurora display in spring 2024. A colourful sunset sky was created using a salt watercolour technique.

Artist Bio:

I mostly create nature - inspired mixed media art with watercolours, touches of white gel or black ink pen for added contrast and interest. I use artist grade watercolour paints or pencils, gels, inks, graphite pencils, acrylics and painted on 100% cotton watercolour paper.
I enjoy photography as well as exploring nature in my free time. My original paintings are often based on my photographs of Suffolk nature and other places I have visited.
