Title: Pink Alstroemeria

Pink colours during the autumn season is a rather new and unusual discovery for me in the UK, where many pink flowers feature in autumn gardens. Nerine, Amaryllis Belladonna, and Alstroemeria are amongst the most planted and nurtured by keen gardeners. The colours of such plants in the autumn have inspired this painting – a pretty-in-pink Alstroemeria created using watercolour pencils.

Artist Bio:

I mostly create nature - inspired mixed media art with watercolours, touches of white gel or black ink pen for added contrast and interest. I use artist grade watercolour paints or pencils, gels, inks, graphite pencils, acrylics and painted on 100% cotton watercolour paper.
I enjoy photography as well as exploring nature in my free time. My original paintings are often based on my photographs of Suffolk nature and other places I have visited.
