Title: Brancaster sands and reflected clouds

I love North Norfolk and the massive skies you see there. Brancaster has drifting sands and big tides, the combination lets the sea reflect the sky. The sun always seems to shine making family holidays a delight. I painted the scene in acrylic on canvas in a free and easy style with big brushes and let emotions take hold. My paintings paint themselves, I often don’t know how they’ll turn out. Another thing, the crab sandwiches are delicious.

Artist Bio:

I studied art at A level but then a career in Engineering and bringing up a family interrupted my painting. But I never lost my passion for art and for the last 40 years I've been painting again. I've shown my art in countless exhibitions and galleries including Sheffield, Hull, Buxton and many others. I live in Wirksworth where I moved to, to continue my taking part in the Festival there and have had my painting included in the Wirksworth Brochure Front Page.
