Artwork Description:

Title: Pair Of Zebra

“It brings me great satisfaction to make available high-quality prints from my original painting, “Pair of Zebra.” Set in the hot, burning plains of Africa, the monochromatic stripes of this hardy mammal demonstrate Mother Nature’s ability to be radical and capture hearts.”

Artist Bio:
Thank you for visiting my page.

I've been inspired by Renoir, Van Gogh, Dali’s “Persistence of Memory,” and Hopper’s “Morning Sun.” Planning my paintings can take weeks or months. I research various perspectives and details, studying other artists’ works. After choosing a canvas size, I use software to align my sketch, then sketch key details. Applying the right ground paint is crucial to building up the composition, with light and dark always in mind.

I don't always stick to the initial sketch as the painting process evolves, often adding or removing details to build depth. Photographing the artwork helps me review progress away from the studio. I seek feedback from family, friends, and other artists throughout the process.

Walking away from the final stages is challenging, but family support helps. I work with various mediums, though I often choose acrylic. My approach is guided by gut feeling, aiming to produce the best work possible.
