Title: Apple on a Vase Still Life

This image presents a still-life composition with a focus on simplicity and colour contrast. I made it to showcase the beauty of the apple before I ate it.

It would look great in a kitchen, cafe or anywhere food is used.

The main subject is a single apple, positioned atop an inverted, wide-based cone or bowl. The apple is predominantly red with hints of yellow, suggesting ripeness. It has a round, plump shape with a subtle sheen, indicating a smooth surface. The stem is visible, adding a touch of natural detail.

The cone/bowl is a solid, muted lime green, providing a striking contrast to the red of the apple. Its matte finish contrasts with the slight gloss of the apple. The shape is simple and geometric, drawing the eye to the apple placed upon it.

The background is a soft, blurred yellow-green, creating a monochromatic palette with the cone. This lack of sharp focus in the background helps to emphasize the sharpness of the apple and the cone. The lighting is even and diffused, highlighting the textures and colors of the objects.

Overall, the image has a clean, minimalist aesthetic with a focus on form and color. The composition is centered and balanced, creating a sense of harmony and stillness. The contrasting colours and shapes create visual interest, while the simplicity of the subject matter provides a sense of calm and tranquility.
