Title: Self-care Matters

This is a mixed media artwork that describes the importance of caring for our inner self. Colours and textures create visual interest, and suggest emotional content. The warm colours in the upper part of the picture create feelings of warmth and caring. The art materials used are fabric and paper collage, acrylic colours, ink, watercolour pencils and graphite on board.

Artist Bio:

I am a self-taught artist and always happiest with a pencil, camera or paintbrush in my hand!

I love to look for slightly quirky or unusual image or views.

I work and create either in my studio or outside, with graphite pencils, mixed media collage and my camera.
