Title: Wildflower Ruby Heart

This is Wildflower Ruby Heart, a beautiful floral painting within a heart shape. Perfect for a Ruby anniversary gift, a red themed wedding, mother’s day, housewarming gift, or even a lovely treat for that special person or your home.

I decided to create a heart collection using different colour flowers within. I was recently looking for a gift for a golden wedding anniversary and disappointed in the lack of gifts available to buy. The creative inside me gave a smile and I immediately began sketching ideas. I wanted to combine my love of wildflowers with a symbol of love, so a heart was obviously selected. So I begun with a golden version and now this gorgeous ruby version is also finished. (I’m currently working on an emerald option – will add asap)

For this ruby heart I selected different shades of red and combined them with greens and white for the perfect balance of botanical bliss.

Artist Bio:

Hi, I'm Jess aka the Navy Sloth. I'm a part time artist and full time mum of two beautiful little girls. I paint as often as my limited spare time allows and love every second of it. I'm based in Cardiff, and paint in my little studio within our home. It's my little corner where I can switch off for a few hours and just be my creative self (it's meant to be a toy free zone but somehow they have crept in slowly - you know how it is!)

I create semi abstract wildflower paintings on canvas, combining my illustrative skills with a bold abstract style. My work is vibrant, fun and full of texture, perfect to add a splash of colour to any wall!
