I love how this painting makes me feel, alive in a landscape dominated by a large, glowing moon, rising over rolling hills. The moon is rendered in vibrant shades of blue, purple, and white, with a textured, with a mystical, otherworldly feel.

The foreground consists of dark, undulating hills or waves painted in shades of black and charcoal, adding depth and contrast. The sky is speckled with stars against a deep black background, enhancing the sense of space and wonder.

This painting intends to blend elements of nature and fantasy, creating a tranquil yet energetic scene. 

Artist Bio:

I live in the beautiful village of Carsington in Derbyshire.

My work focuses on creating atmospheric and textured landscapes, but I also create large abstract art pieces.

I am inspired by my surroundings and the fauna and flora of my local reservoir.

My abstract pieces are created with instinct and emotion, always focusing on the drama and intrigue a piece can portray.  Each piece is lovingly crafted, taking care to ensure the mood of a piece is captured through the use of harmonious and contrasting colours.
