Title: Contemplation

Watercolour painting on Hot Pressed 140 lb paper.

I met and chatted to this old man at Twycross Zoo.

He was quite relaxed, chewing his stick and contemplating life – and possibly also the strange person in front of him, taking his photo.

 

 

 

 

Artist Bio:

I have been an artist for many years,  and I am always happiest with a pencil, camera or paintbrush in my hand!

I like to explore quirky or unusual images or views. I enjoy painting people and animals - especially where the image tells a story, or connects with the viewer.

I love colour, I enjoy being with people and I love to be outside in gorgeous scenery. All of these elements can be seen in my work.
