Artists Bio:
From as early as i can remember i had a paintbrush in my hand! Painting and drawing was all i ever wanted to do. In secondary school i studied art and couldn’t wait for every art lesson to come around. I would even spend my breaks in the art room! I then went on to study Art and Design at college for two years. After that i got a little sidetracked (i was going to study illustration at university) and trained as a ceramic artist at Bilston and Battersea Enamels where i worked for many years. Since then i have gone back to my first love… painting watercolours!
My biggest inspiration is nature. From all kinds of wildlife (i especially like painting birds) to the dramatic scenery and waterfalls of North Wales.
When i was a child, my mom spent many hours reading fairytales to me such as Beauty and the Beast, The Princess and the Pea and my favourite, Snow White and Rose Red. Now, as an adult, i love to let my imagination run free and paint scenes from well known fairy and folk tales! Please enjoy my work, and i hope that it brings you as much joy as it brings me!
