Artists Bio:
Hello my name is Heidi, I’m a mixed media artist based in Derbyshire working with paint, fused glass and clay.
Living close to the Derbyshire Dales I’m very much drawn to the land and much of my work is inspired by Nature, Myth and Spirituality. I tend to use a mixture of Acrylics, Inks and Watercolour paints within my illustration work, I’m not a great planner, I tend to go with the flow when I’m creating my art aiming for a splash of humour, joy and soul within each painting rather than anatomical accuracy. If a piece of my work has made somebody smile, then I feel that is time well spent.
