Artists Bio:
Hi. I’m Jen. I live in Glasgow, in Scotland.
I create hand-drawn ink and watercolour art. I started painting in watercolour in 2021. The pandemic was taking its toll, and I needed something to quieten a busy mind. Watercolour painting now quietens my busy mind while I navigate parenting my two wonderfully exhausting children!
I paint whenever I can, fitting it in around my full-time job as an occupational therapist in the charity sector, and, of course, around previously mentioned children!
My work often focusses on places and people from home. In Scotland, we are so lucky to have some of the most beautiful scenery, and colourful characters! I hope my work can bring a little bit of Scottishness to you.
