Artists Bio:
My professional career was spent managing academic libraries, but photography has always been a passion. When I took early retirement, I completed an advanced diploma course in photography to understand the theory and techniques that underpin the art of photography.
I love the natural world and find inspiration in the nature that surrounds us. Over time, I have concentrated more and more on taking images of plants and flowers. I find the multitude of different shapes, colours and textures fascinating. There have been some difficult times over the last few years and, spending time in nature with the camera, has been a solace and a source of great satisfaction.
