Artists Bio:
Hi I’m Lisa.
I live in the picturesque Derbyshire Dales with my Husband and our four children.
I feel that my artistic journey is really only just beginning, I’m a Doctor of Chemistry, with a background in Teaching, but have been creative all my life, always making and doing. It is, however, only over the past few years that I’ve discovered the joy of painting and enjoyed how wonderfully relaxing and therapeutic it is taking time to slow down. I love creating fun, loose, vibrant images of things that inspire me.
We live in a rural village and are very lucky to be surrounded by the most beautiful views and I believe this is my biggest inspiration. I love to paint everything “nature” – plants, animals, woodlands and other landscapes and have done a few commissions over the past few years. It was by sharing my paintings with family and friends that word spread – and well here I am!
I am still amazed and truly honoured that people enjoy my art work. If you come to own one of my prints or originals I do hope that it brings you as much joy as it does me!
