Artists Bio:

Hi,

I’m Louise, a colour pencil animal artist based in Newquay, Cornwall.

I’m a huge lover of nature and animals and spend a lot of time outdoors with my camera. I find inspiration in the wildlife photos that I take, and a lot of the birds and wildlife that I draw are taken from my own photographs.

I love to draw pets too and offer pet portrait commissions as well as prints of different types and breeds of our best friends. These include dogs, horses, cats and reptiles.

As a photographer and artist, I strive to capture the beauty and personality of each creature that I draw. I find the level of detail required for me to create my art, allows me to really feel connected to each bird, mammal, reptile or insect that I draw. This is something that it’s important to me and I hope this comes across in my art.
