Liverpool based artist who’s work revolves around the themes of the personal unconsciousness
If art is a reflection of society, and that society is sick, disjointed and chaotic. Then art that takes that twisted chaos and tries to assemble it into a sense of coherence from it, is probably a good metaphor for life.
I feel a lot of my work is a dialogue between the unconscious and the waking rational mind, and produces metaphors in a manner of the communication of dreams to the waking self, that I often interpret in hindsight.
As such, there is a chaos contained within the work, yet it always reaches to a point of light and serenity.
