Artists Bio:
Morgane is a contemporary abstract painter based in the UK (Carshalton, South London), where she has lived most of her adult life.
She mostly takes her inspiration from her upbringing in France, where she was born, Morocco where she spent her teenage years, and her travels around the world. She uses her intuition and emotions to let the picture take form, allowing the medium to transform and interact with her. The final product is the result of what she eels is an intimate relationship between medium and creator, which she aim to use to bring the viewers along with her on a discovery of feelings and moods, exploring the nature and compatibility of different forms, shapes and colours, and enabling the viewer to reflect on life’s wonders and struggles.
Morgane is self-taught and has been drawing and painting since a very young age. She says: “As a child, I always preferred to draw rather than use words, something I have kept with me all my life. I enjoy helping people see things differently through visuals.”
Morgane’s fascination for life force, forms and the human body also translates into her work as Chinese medicine practitioner.
