Artists Bio:
Gill Hamilton studied as an Art teacher before spending over fifteen years in schools around the North West of England.
She produces an eclectic mix of work, ranging from realistic still life and portraits to abstract figures and landscapes.
She paints her abstracts mainly in acrylics, sometimes incorporating collage and mixed media. She works intuitively, enjoying the freedom to push the boundaries of composition and colour.
Gill works from her studio on the outskirts of Manchester and is an elected member of the prestigious Manchester Academy of Fine Artists.
