Artists Bio:
Having retired after a career spanning over 40 years in graphic design, including 20 years as a creative director, I have gone back to where it all started, my love for illustration.
As a young boy, I would spend hours drawing and dreaming that one day I would be able to sell my work. It’s only taken me the best part of 60 years to fulfil my ambition. I prefer to illustrate people using pencil, ink, watercolour and oil pastels. I started out by creating artwork of Manchester City players (my other passion is football, and I’ve followed Man City since 1967). Personalities from the world of entertainment and music soon followed, but occasionally I have been asked to illustrate dogs, cats, children and even buildings.
Illustration is something that I really enjoy, and if I can make someone else happy through my passion for art, I have realised my dream.
