This little plein air study depicts a scene that’s close to my heart, our beautiful British countryside.

Rural farmland, glowing with the last rays of the sun as it sinks beneath the trees with big skies above.

Working in oils, I enjoy the techniques of impressionism and tonalism. I love being out in nature and aim to convey a particular mood or atmosphere in each painting.
