Title: Ay Up Duck – Retro Ducks

I created these ducks about 9 years ago when I started my small illustration business Duck & Peach Illustration in 2015.

Inspired by the phrase “Ay Up Me Duck”, these prints have been very popular over the years, and I’ve often wondered how many people in and around Derbyshire have them hanging in their halls or bathrooms!

I’ve done some makeovers of the Ay Up Duck print for Arti, and have created a few new colours and patterns which I hope will appeal to a variety of tastes and interior colour schemes. Enjoy!

Artist Bio:

My chosen mediums are gouache and ink, and procreate is a go-to for me too. I like bigger canvases, so walls are very appealing to me!

In 2015, I completed a master's degree at The University of Derby specialising in children’s literature and illustration. I went on to become a self-employed illustrator and set up a small illustration business called Duck & Peach Illustration, and had a little shop in my adopted hometown of Belper. During the last 8 years, I have designed and painted murals for other businesses such as shops and cafes. I’ve also stocked my work with a great variety of independent stockists throughout the UK.

My work is bright and colourful and often features cute little characters, all created to make you smile.
