Title: Cityscape 11 – Les jardins suspendus

Inspired by memories and emotions from cityscapes of my childhood and many  travels abroad, I created this work in bright colours using a credit card with inks and pen.

 

Artist Bio:

Hello, I’m Carol, a self-taught mixed media artist. Born and raised in Paris, France, I now live in beautiful Amber Valley, Derbyshire. I mostly work with acrylics and inks.  Depending on my mood I either revel in the joy of  bright colours, or brood in dark greys and blues.  My current work is a mix of semi-abstract cityscapes and landscapes born out of my travel memories   When not painting, you’ll find me in the garden sowing, planting or harvesting.
