Artist Bio:

I moved to beautiful Derbyshire 18 years ago and have returned to my much loved subject of the river in its many moods.   Preferring an intimate section as opposed to a wide panorama.
I am a regular visitor to Milldale and the River Dove. An emotional connection to a place I feel conveys itself in the final result.
I stay away from an earth palette with a somewhat unorthodox approach, mixing the colours on the brush hoping to achieve a jewel like glow.
I work in acrylics, watercolour and oils.
