Title: Curiosity

I had a gentle chat with this lady at the end of the day at Twycross Zoo. She looked straight at me, and there was a tiny moment of connection.

Maybe she was just being curious?

I wanted to capture that tiny moment in this painting, with a focus on her beautiful eyes.

Artist Bio:

I have been an artist for many years,  and I am always happiest with a pencil, camera or paintbrush in my hand!

I like to explore quirky or unusual images or views. I enjoy painting people and animals - especially where the image tells a story, or connects with the viewer.

I love colour, I enjoy being with people and I love to be outside in gorgeous scenery. All of these elements can be seen in my work.
