Ruth balances acrylic painting with a professional life, as a Heritage Consultant. Creating a symbiotic relationship between her work and her deep understanding of the history of the local area and buildings and their significance in the local landscape.
Ruth has been a painter for over twenty years, teaching, selling paintings and working to commission. A member of Peak District Artisans she enjoys working with other artists to create events and opportunities.
