Title: Evening Sunshine, Hope

In the evening, sunshine smiles across the Hope Valley, over the fields and hedgerows. Walking down this shaded lane you will pass Earls Cement railway sidings, and emerge in wide fields which will take you up the “Doctor’s Gate” via an old holloway, up the edge of Win Hill and finally towards Hope Cross and an ancient track to Edale and beyond.

Artist Bio:

Hazel is a painter and art tutor living in Derbyshire, and enjoys capturing the varied local landscapes in acrylics and oils, with many completed on-location. Her paintings explore the subtle changing moods of the seasons, from quiet unassuming landscapes, dramatic sunlit views or forgotten corners off the beaten path. Available for workshops and demonstrations, commissions also undertaken.
