Title: Fairy Dell

I enjoy painting all kinds of wildlife but my real passion is painting anything fantasy or fairytale! This painting of a fairy was the first fairytale painting I ever did! (as an adult!!) The delicate fairy hovers to smell the roses against a backdrop of waterfalls and hostas. look closely and you will see that her delicate wings are almost see-through. It was inspired by the roses and hostas in my own garden, unfortunately I have yet to see a fairy! This is a very detailed painting that took many hours to complete, but it was worth it!

Artist Bio:

I am a watercolour and ceramic artist based in the West Midlands. I have painted professionally for over 25 years and my biggest inspiration is nature itself. Although I also like to let my imagination run free and paint fantasy and fairytales! Whether it be birds or flowers, unicorns or waterfalls, I am sure will find something that you will fall in love with!
