Title: Golden Slumbers

Watercolour and pencil, drawn and painted from life. The golden colour of the paint made me think of the Beatles song, hence the title.

Artist Bio:

Hello, I'm Ruth. My main inspiration is the human figure - from life, photos or the imagination. Loving the countryside of Derbyshire and Northern France, too. I quit art school many years ago but never stopped drawing and painting. I'm currently Vice Chairman of Derby Sketching Club where we love getting together to draw from life.
