Title: Matheson Falls

A short hike up the river to the stunning amphitheatre of Matheson Falls near Fernie in British Columbia. The waterfall varies from a raging torrent in spring, partially frozen in winter and just a small trickle in the summer.

This Photograph was taken in the summer with a 1 second exposure as even though there wasn’t too much water around it was really fast.

Artist Bio:

I have been the joint organiser of The Belper Arts Trail for the last 10 years, and the Trail has grown in popularity and scope in that time. I also curated The Cherry Orchard pop-up gallery on the Market Place in Belper, where showcasing the works of local artists was my primary aim.

I love illustration, and I am a big fan of comics, anime, and manga and try to use these mediums as a source of inspiration whenever I get the chance.

My other obsession is what you see here... photography, and it's a medium I'm determined to explore to its fullest. For me, photography is more than just a hobby; it's a way of bringing the world to life and giving it meaning. I feel that photography is a way for me to express myself and share my unique perspective with the world. I plan to capture every moment of my explorations through my camera.
