Title: Misty morning by the lake

A wintry walk by the lake at Shipley Country Park, trying to capture the scenery’s mysterious atmosphere  created by the rising mist.

Indigo  and Payne’s grey acrylic inks using  Chinese and sword brushes.

Artist Bio:

Hello, I’m Carol, a self-taught mixed media artist. Born and raised in Paris, France, I now live in beautiful Amber Valley, Derbyshire. I mostly work with acrylics and inks.  Depending on my mood I either revel in the joy of  bright colours, or brood in dark greys and blues.  My current work is a mix of semi-abstract cityscapes and landscapes born out of my travel memories   When not painting, you’ll find me in the garden sowing, planting or harvesting.
