Title: Night stroll on the beach

‘Night stroll on the beach’ is inspired by a captivating photograph my daughter took whilst on holiday in Wales.  To recreate the atmosphere, I have used  wet on wet Indigo with details in Red Earth acrylic inks, aiming to convey the feeling of the serenity of the landscape.

Artist Bio:

Hello, I’m Carol, a self-taught mixed media artist. Born and raised in Paris, France, I now live in beautiful Amber Valley, Derbyshire. I mostly work with acrylics and inks.  Depending on my mood I either revel in the joy of  bright colours, or brood in dark greys and blues.  My current work is a mix of semi-abstract cityscapes and landscapes born out of my travel memories   When not painting, you’ll find me in the garden sowing, planting or harvesting.
