Title: Pico do Arieiro, Madeira Sunrise

Island of Madeira sunrise. Image taken on believe it or not a organised excursion to see the sunrise from Pico do Arierio, one the highest peaks on the island. I decided to keep away from the area where the others stood for two reasons, firstly to protect my gear as I could see tripod getting kicked and knock very easily in the dark, secondly to use the other people to give the image some interest to go with the sunrise. You can just see the Island of Porto Santos jutting through the cloud inversion.

 

One other point is to let you know that I also do my own bespoke framing. Where I cut the mount, cut the glass, cut the frame mouldings, I only use wood mouldings and put it all together. So if you need to know any more please get in touch.

Landscapes are my go to but I will have a go at any photography. Also do my own Bespoke mounting and framing. Happy Retirement.
