Artwork Description:

Title: Porth Iago

The sandy little cove of Porth Iago is difficult to find and you have to drive through a farm, but is one of the best to be found on the Llyn Peninsula, North Wales. Flanked by the low grassy headlands of Dinas and Graig Ddu the beach here is fairly sheltered making it a great spot for a dip (with a wetsuit on because it’s freezing) in the clear blue waters.

This was just before the rain moved in as it often does around that area.

Artist Bio:

I have been the joint organiser of The Belper Arts Trail for the last 10 years, and the Trail has grown in popularity and scope in that time. I also curated The Cherry Orchard pop-up gallery on the Market Place in Belper, where showcasing the works of local artists was my primary aim.

I love illustration, and I am a big fan of comics, anime, and manga and try to use these mediums as a source of inspiration whenever I get the chance.

My other obsession is what you see here... photography, and it's a medium I'm determined to explore to its fullest. For me, photography is more than just a hobby; it's a way of bringing the world to life and giving it meaning. I feel that photography is a way for me to express myself and share my unique perspective with the world. I plan to capture every moment of my explorations through my camera.
