Title: Sheffield Winter Gardens

Sheffield Winter Gardens, oil painting on canvas. I grew up in Sheffield and remember walking through the Winter Gardens during winter, absorbing the warmth and the colour of the tropics. And just a short walk to Graves art gallery to see new exhibitions.

Artist Bio:

I studied art at A level but then a career in Engineering and bringing up a family interrupted my painting. But I never lost my passion for art and for the last 40 years I've been painting again. I've shown my art in countless exhibitions and galleries including Sheffield, Hull, Buxton and many others. I live in Wirksworth where I moved to, to continue my taking part in the Festival there and have had my painting included in the Wirksworth Brochure Front Page.
