Seeking peace and relaxation, I became transfixed with the sights I saw in nature which helped me to unwind. Whether that was a walk in woodland, or along a craggy shoreline, my spirits undoubtedly would be lifted.

I became fascinated  by a group of hares on a meadow close to home and decided to photograph them. My first attempts were blurred and distant but I was determined to persevere and so joined a photography class and began to study what was going wrong.

Now I am proud to produce my 'Hare' series. The hares are described purely for identification purposes but not named. Feel free to choose your own favourite and give it a name!

I have since moved on to capture other aspects of nature realising that the possibilities are endless and exciting whether it is seascapes, woodland, architecture or the birds and bees. Inspiration is all around us.
