Trying to convey the happy feeling I get from being immersed in the vastness of a very blue sky and green fields in the height of summer.

Wet on wet acrylic inks  – Prussian blue and Olive green

Artist Bio:

Hello, I’m Carol, a self-taught mixed media artist. Born and raised in Paris, France, I now live in beautiful Amber Valley, Derbyshire. I mostly work with acrylics and inks.  Depending on my mood I either revel in the joy of  bright colours, or brood in dark greys and blues.  My current work is a mix of semi-abstract cityscapes and landscapes born out of my travel memories   When not painting, you’ll find me in the garden sowing, planting or harvesting.
