Title: Sunset on Blue

Sunset on Blue is an abstract piece that evokes the serene beauty of a sunset over the ocean. Orange and gold are overlaid with layers of turquoise and blue hues, suggesting the sun as it dips below the horizon, casting a gentle glow over the water. I wanted the overall effect to be both calming and dynamic, with horizontal bands creating a sense of movement and depth. If you are wanting to bring an expanse of blue with a contrasting orange and gold to a contemporary coastal interior then this is piece will add a dramatic focal point to a room.

Artist Bio:
The unspoiled beauty of the Cornish coast—where the land meets the vast expanse of the Atlantic—has been a constant source of inspiration for me. I am drawn to the sea and feel its magnetic pull deeply. As a committed thalassophile, (someone who loves the ocean and finds calm and peace being close to the sea - this definitely sums me up!) I am often found on the beaches, cliff tops, coastal paths and shoreline of Cornwall, soaking up the ever changing skies, dramatic cliffs and rolling waves. My artwork seeks to communicate my emotional response to the colours, patterns and textures of the coast and to evoke a sense, for the viewer, of being immersed in this natural environment.
