Title: The Gathering

The Gathering is a piece inspired by Wirksworth where I grew up, I have fond memories of spending evenings around fires in the summertime in our local quarries.  I wanted to visualise the atmosphere and blending conversations & emotions that created those special memories.

All of my work is illustrated by hand, I enjoy adding detail and colour that allows people to be immersed in my art and to find their own interpretation of the image.
I have developed my illustration for many years and always search for improvement and development, I value learning and enjoyment from art above all else.
