Title: Wirksworth snowstorm 2

A walk with friends in the Peak District was suddenly transformed by a blizzard of snow into a new fantasy world that was unrecognisable, a Dreamscape. We thought we knew the area well but the sudden snowfall misted our view and totally confused us. And it was cold! I captured the scene in acrylic paint on canvas.

Artist Bio:

I studied art at A level but then a career in Engineering and bringing up a family interrupted my painting. But I never lost my passion for art and for the last 40 years I've been painting again. I've shown my art in countless exhibitions and galleries including Sheffield, Hull, Buxton and many others. I live in Wirksworth where I moved to, to continue my taking part in the Festival there and have had my painting included in the Wirksworth Brochure Front Page.
