Artists Bio:
I have been the joint organiser of The Belper Arts Trail for the last 10 years, and the Trail has grown in popularity and scope in that time. I also curated The Cherry Orchard pop-up gallery on the Market Place in Belper, where showcasing the works of local artists was my primary aim.
I love illustration, and I am a big fan of comics, anime, and manga and try to use these mediums as a source of inspiration whenever I get the chance.
My other obsession is what you see here… photography, and it’s a medium I’m determined to explore to its fullest. For me, photography is more than just a hobby; it’s a way of bringing the world to life and giving it meaning. I feel that photography is a way for me to express myself and share my unique perspective with the world. I plan to capture every moment of my explorations through my camera.
I have an adventurous spirit that is fuelled by curiosity and I feel very humble about my surroundings. I have been fortunate enough to go on some incredible adventures, and I am always looking for new and exciting opportunities to explore. I am very fortunate to be surrounded by so much natural beauty and wonders in my hometown of Belper.
I confess to being a Sci-fi lover, and I often find myself getting lost in my own little world, probably a world where the X Files, Dr Who, Red Dwarf, and anything Star Wars play on repeat.
One thing is certain: the shutter count my camera will keep increasing and with my passion for creative expression, love for adventure, and appreciation for natural beauty I will continue to be inspired to create and push myself to try new things.
