Title: Lion’s Face

The Lion’s Face is a famous hill near the town of Tafraout in southern Morocco. In some lights it is reputed to look like the face of a lion, but not in this light – the red before sunset. Painted in watercolour.

Artist Bio:

I have always enjoyed alking and climbing in the hills and mountains. I work mainly in watercolour, as I love its translucent qualities which help me to portray the light in the landscapes. The changing light and moods in the wild places inspires me to try and capture the feeling of the place.
