Title: Incoming Tide

Huge skies, water and rocks, so reminiscent of childhood holidays spent scrambling around on this Cornish coast, drew me in, daring me to try to capture the wildness, the movement and spray.

Artist Bio:

Many of my paintings are of the landscapes around my home in the Peak District; you may see views you recognise if you've ever walked around the Hartington area. Others are from views that have caught my eye when travelling further afield. There are vignettes of plants growing through walls, and even an occasional flower detail. My studio is open on various days through the year, so if you're passing, drop in!
