Title: Cool Cornish Coast

The reduced palette of this rugged Cornish coastal view appealed to me; the cool greys of the sea and sky, the subtle blues and browns of the receding water and emerging sand cried out to be captured in paint.

Artist Bio:

Many of my paintings are of the landscapes around my home in the Peak District; you may see views you recognise if you've ever walked around the Hartington area. Others are from views that have caught my eye when travelling further afield. There are vignettes of plants growing through walls, and even an occasional flower detail. My studio is open on various days through the year, so if you're passing, drop in!
