Title: Ivey’s Crypt

Double Exposure Photograph – Ivey’s Crypt

The photographs were taken at two separate locations, one in Cornwall – Mother Ivey’s Bay and the other at Lanercost Priory in 2016.  I love how the arches seem to emerge from the sand, like they’ve been there for centuries.  Also, how the perspective shouldn’t work but somehow it just does..

Artist Bio:
I am a Derbyshire-based artist, creating mixed media paintings and making double-exposure photographs.  I also own a Cupcake business, "Blooming Cakes" with a retail unit in Belper. I create buttercream floral cakes, which some would consider as 'edible art'.
