Title: Silk Mill Poppies

Double Exposure Photograph – Poppies at Derby Silk Mill

Photograph was taken in 2017 when “Poppies: Weeping Window” was installed at Derby Silk Mill.  A cascade comprising several thousand handmade ceramic poppies, originally seen pouring from a high window to the ground below at the Tower of London as part of the installation Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red by artist Paul Cummins.

Artist Bio:
I am a Derbyshire-based artist, creating mixed media paintings and making double-exposure photographs.  I also own a Cupcake business, "Blooming Cakes" with a retail unit in Belper. I create buttercream floral cakes, which some would consider as 'edible art'.
